Australian Monitor approached KWA Design Group to develop a series of electronic products to revolutionize the audio and paging industry. The project required exceptional quality in engineering and design to match the "revolutionary" keynote attached to the product range. The AM Revolution Series will set the benchmark for DSP processing and cement Australian Monitors reputation as one of the world's leading audio manufacturers.
My role was to manage all aspects of product development from concept to manufacture, including the design of PCBs and component layouts, conductive silicon button pads, plastics engineering with in-mould-decoration and screen printed graphics, engineering drawings and specifications, prototyping and product testing. Overseeing tooling and production with variation reports in consultation with international toolmakers and manufacturers.
